ESOL Teacher/EMI Teacher

Start October 1st and end May 31st of each year. The October 1st, 2022 start date for the 22/23 academic year for our program closed in March but we are actively accepting people in to the program for the 23/24 program year that will start October 2nd, 2023 and end May 31st, 2024.

The teachers will be teaching English in a classroom setting but will not just teach the English Language (they might be teaching a 5th grade History class in English, for example), coming up with fun teaching activities and conversational/grammar games, and going on the occasional field trip with students and other teachers.

The positions are all over Spain. We have teachers in Mallorca, downtown Madrid, A Coruña in the North of Spain, Bilbao, Sevilla, Granda, Cadiz, Alicante, and Valencia to name only a few places.

In smaller regions teachers can expect to work between 12 – 14 hours a week and in larger regions they will work between 18 – 20 hours a week. It will most likely be just from Monday - Thursday. Teachers will be teaching students from Pre School all the way to High School (3/4 years old to 17/18 years old).

In our program, we assist each program participant with the placement process, immigration process, arrival to Spain, housing, access to language immersion opportunities and/or private excursions (Madrid, Toledo, Segovia), as well as assistance for simple things like opening their bank account, getting WiFi in their apartments, or getting a working phone to communicate with family and friends.

The teachers will earn between €700 EUR to €1000 EUR a month depending on where in Spain they are teaching.

The program can only accept those with a passport from: USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
